As part of our approach, our curriculum is designed to revolve around the visual arts. Themes are developed through individual and group art projects involving painting, watercolor and collage.
We believe in the value of mixed age groups. Younger and older children teach and learn from one another through their play and work. When children interact in this way they learn to collaborate and build upon each other’s knowledge.
We offer a child-driven; art and play-based, exploratory curriculum where children are offered repeated experiences to extend their understanding of topics and materials
The program and environment are set up to foster a sense of community. We are a community where we work together, respect, and care for each other. Children work together in many different ways. They play together, prepare and serve snack together, and collaborate on projects. Our goal is to nurture each child’s individuality!
