If you like reading in Italian, this course is for you!!!!

We will read “Scontro di civiltà per un ascensore a piazza vittorio” by author Amara Lakhous (available also in eBook). The author attempts to reveal a great and contemporary side of the Italian culture.

This course is geared to introduce students to selected readings in Italian culture, through which they expand their vocabulary and learn new grammar. Students also learn more about cultural issues within the Italian context and develop competence in critical analysis from a global perspective. Readings are in Italian and discussions are in Italian and English.
